Drain sounds

Recommended Posts

When running back into the reservoir, take a piece of rope (natural fibres are better) and place it from the place you are draining into the reservoir and then carefully allow the fluid to run down the rope and into the reservoir.

There is very little sound, but this also sacrifices the ability to drain a lot of fluid quickly.

I found a way that worked for me.

I found that the glass diffuser (sealed glass cover thingy) out of my 400WHPS slid into my res on an angle so that 1 end was at the bottom of the res, and the other was at the top. The water from the over flow dropped onto the glass and spead evenly across it, then ran into the res.

Quiet. Cheap. effective. fast. easy to do.

(If this doesn't make sence, it's because I've had a couple of beers. Ask again and I'll try to explain.
