The Internet Filter of Mr Conroy

Recommended Posts

I believe it comes into force next month.

I've heard that Optus, Telstra and someone else (?) will be using the Senators Web filter.

Does this mean that this Site will not be available/BANNED to folk using these ISP's?

If so, can someone maybe suggest an ISP that will NOT implement this ban?

It comes in next month?! I thought that whole thing was scrapped. Conroy is a fucking idiot and I'm embarrassed to have him as a senator.

Can you provide a news link or something?

Needless to say, anyone that's on an ISP that implements this filter should move to someone else, object to this ludicrous form of censorship!

G'day Troops.

These fucks in cuntberra, once they have their claws in they will not relent until they have TOTAL control. Over the internet is only one example, these maggots are after, and getting, total control over every aspect of your lives. Slowly but surely, a law here, an amendment there, a ban on this and a ban on that. Kronic is a recent one that comes to mind. If dickheads want to smoke a carcinogenic insense, go ahead. Quick as shit goes through a goose , they have it. It's called FASCISM. Both of my grandfathers fought a war to eliminate this shit, but here it is, alive and well in Australia. I could rant and rave for ever about these pricks, fucking slime. Shoot them all. Bring on the revolution, I'll supply the rope.

Someone in the Whirlpool forums wrote: If they know the URLs of the websites hosting child porn, why don't they contact Interpol and get the relevant overseas authority to shut the sites down?

Simple question. Very simple. No answer. Ever.

So McDOGboy what's your answer to that or is everything ok with you ?

"Telstra and Optus confirmed they would block access to a list of child abuse websites provided by the Australian Communications and Media Authority and more compiled by unnamed international organisations from mid-year.

I ganked that from the news article.

IMO if it's ONLY going to be about censoring CHILD ABUSE websites then I'm all for it. That kind of stuff has no place on earth, period.

However, if they start blocking other sites completely unrelated to child abuse then I'll be seriously fkn pissed!
