male to female? truth or lie

hi guys,me and the boys were talking today about if there is any chance of turning a male plant to female?a mate got a pack of seeds that were regular because he reckons that strain didnt come in female anyway he has 3 for sure females and the last 1 he grew from a seed.instead of growing all the 5 seeds he got,the tight arse.he reckons that the bloke at the hydro store told him if he use's this stuff called BLAST from bud wise.this is the first i have heard of a male plant changing into female because of a spary or changing at all.i have throught that males are males.please if anyone can clear this up for me it woud be a great help.i just need to know if a male can turn female is so how and what you used.thanks guys i aways come here to get the truth.as anyone would know mates are the hardest to argue with.
