Cloning tops

Recommended Posts

i noticed considerable stretch in a strain and was advised by a local hydro shop to chuck out the mother and to start using the very top to clone for the next generation.

this dude was telling me he has brought back strains that were thought to have drifted genetically after 4 or 5 generations of top cloning. i never believed in the genetic drift theory.

after reading on here i was worried the tops would be harder to clone, and most people clone from the older more woody parts.

i thought i would have a crack at it i have had 100% success so far and nodes much closer in the plants. it seems to be working

anyone had similar experiences ?
