will autoflowers flower under 24Hr Light cycle

will auto flowers still flower normally under a 24 hr light cycle? will it delay the process from veg to flower?

yes they will flower under 24 hour light

they will deff flower under 24 hours light... they will flower un any light schedule as the flowering is not triggered by light schedule... it is triggered by age... thanx to the rudi they have in them

so let me get this straight..... Autoflowering seeds can be grown under 24hr light to reach massive sive and will flower without you having to drop them back?, if so damn im getting amongst that!!!

yeah but...

 

Autos never get huge, because they are crossed with ruderalis which is a smaller cannabis plant...

 

And you cant just veg it till its huge, it will swap to flower when its still short.

 

And the seeds are more pricey

 

And you cant clone them

 

And you will get a smaller yeild compared with standard plants

its better to give them between 4-6 hours of darkness though...

number one, you run a hydro setup for a week solid, that shit is gunna get hot.

number two, it allows them more time to stretch/grow (as far as I have been able to work out, ) so you may end up with more bud or leaf at the end of your flower cycle.

The reason i ask is i have some lowryder 2 seeds that im going to grow outdoors in pots. im not in the ideal place to grow (small unit) but im lucky i have a small courtyard. above my courtyard is a strong lamp which lights up the carpark. it comes on at night by sensor. its bloody bright and lights up the courtyard so the plants will think its 24hr sun. will is make them strech skinny to reach the light?

ummm. i reckon thats a bad idea, depending on the light type, where it is, how powerful it is, what light spectrum it is... youre more likely to kill your plant AFAIK
