Is this normal?

Hey Guys,

 

Could someone take a look at the pic i've uploaded below. I'm not sure if its normal or not but the lower leaves have started to die (discolour) as my plant grows. This is my first grow and I'm after a more experienced opinion. There's been a hell of a lot of rain here lately so I was thinking maybe its got root rot but I'm just guessing. The strain is white widow.

looks like a lack of nitrogen to me. what soil are they in and are u feeding them yet?

Hi jimi, a little bit more info like what your feeding them and at what strength at and any other info you have would be helpfully but to me it looks like it needs a good feed mate.

They're in good quality soil I got from bunnings. Can't remember the name tho. I've done a Ph test on it and its showing about 6 - 6.5. I've also been feeding them outdoor grow by Ozi Magic grow juice. I've also got monster bud to start feeding them when they start budding.

yup it's a nitrogen defficency. Nitrogen is water soluble so if you have had lots of rain good chance its been mostly leached from the soil. Hit them with nitrosol or any fertiliser high in nitrogen

yer as MM said the rain would of washed out all the nutes, she'll come good again after a good feed

Yellowing of the lower leaves is normal they start to usenutrients and the older ones turn yellow and die I'd give it some low strength nutrients to begin with the increase slowly cheers
