That plant is definately sativa dominate, but for all anyone knows it might mature over the next couple of weeks or take a couple of months. You'll need to keep an eye on the resin as it changes colour from clear, to milky and then to amber and decide what kind of high you want from it to determine when to flush. If you want a racey high start flushing while all the resin is clear and harvest just as its turning milky. If you want a sativa with a bit of body start flushing when the resin is milky and harvest when there is a fair bit of amber resin. If you want something inbetween start flushing just as the resin starts turning milky and harvest just as its starting to turn amber.

hope that helps :bongon:

yea great advice in previous ^ 2 posts

you know ive flushed for 3 to 14 days and different periods in between and personelly i reckon 7-10 days is as good as any, but then again i feed my plants on pretty low nute levels like 1.6 -1.8 EC and flush every 7-10dys during the grow so there not much build up

but hey its really a personel choice i guess

Hi all,

Hey, I agree with everything said above. Looks very nice but still needs time, those crystals are beautiful and clear, your want amberish. If you don't have a microscope or lens to check the crystal colour go with the trusted 'when the hairs go brown' rule. Wait until you see some colour in those crystals before flushing, once I start flushing the crystals remain pretty much stable colour wise and 7 - 10 days of flushing works well for me too. I also use less nutes than recommended as this is what my environment likes, but you must flush and the longer the better by all accounts. I've heard of people trying to force it thru in 2-3 days and using additives to assist in the flush, but I recon I'm trying to get rid of chemicals, why use more?

Just some advice

Thanks everyone, I should of given more details. I also use only half strength nutes from start to finish (thats what the reverend told me was best) and I flush heaps every 7 to 8 days so I shouldnt have much build up. I will give them enother week (the bottom buds are starting to get amber hairs) then start a 7 to 10 day flush. Thankyou all:applause:

you should ignore the colour of the hairs and focus on the resin as the resin is the only way to truly confirm maturity.

Hey PL, I would say you will need more then another week.

Even with using weaker strength nutes

you will need to flush for at least 10days and then

the plant needs to use up everything it has left. :peace:

Thanks rev, I will give them another 2 weeks then post another pic. I did think that they looked like they weren't ready but I am no expert. If only I knew as much about growing as you have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
