Brutal Custody Seargent Receives Same Sentence As Granny Pat Tabram

Recommended Posts

Cannabis gran Pat Tabram must be spinning in her favourite armchair tonight, after news reports announce the sentence handed down to the custody officer who brutally beat a woman in his custody, is similar to that she received for growing 4 small cannabis plants.

Granny Pat dangerous? Err...

Patricia Tabram, who is a well known cannabis advocate and activist, was 66 when she first appeared at Newcastle Crown Court. Where she was convicted of possessing cannabis, and plants, said to be worth £850.

Pat Tabram was given a 6 month sentence, which was suspended for 2 years.

Mrs Tabram went straight back home and planted 4 more cannabis plants in a wardrobe at her quaint 2 bedroomed bungalow.

Mrs Tabram explained "It helps me with my depression as well as some pain I had from a couple of accidents I had earlier in life".

"It just seems to take away the ache's and pains of getting old" she told reporters at Newcastly Crown Court.

After due deliberation the jury found Mrs Tabram guilty again. She was given a further six months jail, which was also suspended for 2 years.

Seargent Mark Andrews shows who is in charge as he drags his prisoner by the hair..

The only reason Judge David Hodson never made Granny Pat serve her sentence, was because he "refused to make a martyr of her", (his words, not ours).

Fast Forward to today, September 7th 2010, when it was announced the custody seargent who brutally beat a woman who was being held in his custody suite has been sentenced to just 6 months jail time.

Seargent Mark Andrews was captured on CCTV dragging 5ft 2in Pamela Somerville into a cell before hurling her to the floor ‘like a doll’, knocking her unconscious in the process.

The shocking footage shows Miss Somerville, then 57, lying disorientated before blood starts pouring from a gaping wound above her eye.

And what does the judicial system think the punishment ought to be for such a horrendous and callous betrayal of public trust? About the same as a pensioner who grows 4 cannabis plants. Which shows exactly what a broken and shambolic non-entity the british justice system has become.Read the full shocking story of Seargent Mark Andrews HERE
