hi all my brother and i are planning a trip around australia in 2011-2012 filming a documentry about cannabis in Australia. We will be looking at the history of how hemp first came to australia and where it was grown for making rope in the hawksbury river , and the events leading up to it being made illegal in 1938. As well as looking into the cannabis found growing in the hunter valley in the 1960-70. As well as the past we'll also be looking at what is happening with the hemp industry in australia at present. also be looking at medical trials in australia and people who are forced to break to law to get their prefered medacine. if you would be interested in any way please let us know. we really would like to speak for some farmers growing hemp for industrial purposes and how it can be used to help the enviroment. we would also like to speak to any one growing or using cannabis for medical purposes. if you would like to be part of the film or think you know someone we should talk to please let us know.
