How many oz's do you get per plant?

I'm curious to hear from other hydroponic growers what their average oz's per plant is.

 

I know there is a million variables so if you could mention what style and what lighting you use, as well as medium that would be terrific.

 

I myself grow Xmas style in clay, under 600w in 15lt pots and get about 5oz per plant on average

 

Looking forward to hearing what everyone else considers normal,

Hi Jimbo,

Well as you say lots of variables but I'm doing SCROG, 1 plant in perlite with a layer of clay balls at the bottom, under 2000watts and collect around 20oz give or take a couple oz. Most growers I know say 8 weeks of 12/12 but I usually go 10-12 weeks of 12/12. I find the buds fill out more and the smoke has a much more mature taste and effect. I know others have differing views around the effect but for me, LOVELY!!!

Harvesting this run as we speek. 4.5 liter pots so 200mm i think. 2 weeks veg 53 days flower will hit 4 oz off each , Under 600 watt lights

in the dwc buckets i can get easy 8 oz per plant under 800w light , however strain dependent i can grow the redman in 200mm pots and get 2 oz per plant .. but i can squeeze heaps of plants in there ..

 

mmm , good question though jimbo

 

i got 2 redman in the buckets this run so be interesting to see what they pull , only trouble is the strain is so big and lanky its not really suited to this style of grow , but when i chop i'l drop in and post a weight .

 

how many plants you grow under the 600 watter ?

im just starting agin

im in 2 ltr pots

so will be very interested in seeing wat final weight i can get

just a test to see wats wat in the grow room under the 600w

will drop back in in 7 weeks and give my weight

last grow wasnt in pots it was flood n drain direct plant into clayballs

under a 1000w hps i got 720something grams dry

that was 40 clones veged for 2 weeks then flowered

I read someplace years ago that If your getting 4 oz/plant your doing good, That wouldn't take into account tying your plants over and the strain.

As long as you're hitting the 1g/watt mark it doesn't really matter how much you're pulling per plant does it?

 

 

 

 

EDIT: Sorry Jimbo. am using I think 10L pots now, three of em and pull just over 300g from 400w. Little tweaking to do still I guess.

1 gram per watt is fuckin good, im still trying to achieve that. I reckon if ya pullin 12-16 ounces a 600 watt light ya doin well

 

If people r pullin 1g per watt or better would love to see the pics n hear bout setups, feed times and maybe we can all kick a goal or 2

Got 3 25L pots, Perlite / Clay, Using a 600w and 1000w for Flower.

Just one plant per pot, However I do transfer them into bigger pots,

and ill pull an average of about 10-12 ounces.

And Jimbo if by Christmas tree style you mean its shape, I do exactly the same.

However the plants do get to about 2m tall.... and over a meter wide from the trunk.
