Speeding up maturation

Recommended Posts

I know of one technique for speeding up maturation, which is:

Decrease the on/off cycle to 6hours on and 12 hours off. The effect being that each four days you get five grow days. It may even be possible to reduce the off peiod to 10 hours and have a 16hour grow day.

The only problem with this technique is that a much smaller and inferior crop would result. I would not recoment this method for fat juicy buds.

But if you want to produce some seeded nugs, then this might be a good method to use. I don't know what the end result might be though, maybe scrawny little seeds similar to wild hemp? I hope not lol

Does any one know other methods for speedung up maturation?

And what effect that may have on the final product?

FOL, I haven't tried this one myself yet, but I had seen an article on this in High Times mag a few years back. I definately works, but end result is a bit scrawny by comparison to a 12/12 grow. But thosee buds still looked very tasty and smokable.

Great technique for those who might be hangin out lol

I would rather just let the nature do the course... just be patient.... at the end, as always is always damn worth the extra wait. Just Let them do their own cycle... thats IMO....
