Monster Pineapple harvest with pics!

As promised I have my biggest havest of the season for you all to gaze upon! I posted a couple of pics of this in the Canna porn a couple of weeks ago too before i chopped her down today and boy was it some hard work!

 

So here she is today pre-harvest!

I took a video too but i'm wondering if i should upload it to youtube, i'm a little worried about uploading that type of content to youtube

 

 

After 1 1/2 hours here she is:

I'm glad that it's not so warm in melbourne these days, my drying process will go a lot better, I had my first plant dry up there in under 3 days in the heat in previous weeks! now I can dry it for longer and keep more of the flavours in!

you could have got a lot more pot off the plant if you didnt prune the bottem branches , all you do is fertalize it so all the branches get nutrents , just use a 3ft x 4 ft deep hole with airated soil mix and fertalize it a lot and you could be getting pounds off a plant that height o yeh and the buds are a lot tighter on plants grown like that , use peate 80 soil and mix it 35% coco , that shit rox in and outside

I'm extremely satisfied with the result I got from this plant, the reason it's so tall is because there were alot of bushes around it so it obviously had to grow up high to get to the sunlight, since winter is on our doorstep, mum pruned all the bushes so it naturally stands out alot, the only thing i did was top the plant in the first week of flowering

 

I did not want to go to much more effort, mum would have cracked it and there probably would be no plants to harvest

 

as to the trichomes, I noticed that the trichs were not as thick as most plants, they looked half the length however when chopping it down, i believe that the stickyness of these trichs was almost like sticky tape compared to the others, hopefully it makes for a denser and stronger high!
