close to harvest?

here is my shrub with small chunky buds with lots of white gold on them, take a look at these pics, they're not very far from harvest, i'm dying to try them when it's done!

 

only problem is it just looks like it's almost ready...but at the same time it looks like it is premature, to you peeps does this look like a good yeild? (i'm guessing it's quality over quantity in this case)

the trichs look mostly cloudy, pistils are about 20-30% brown as you can probably see in the pics...

I'd go another month. None of the hairs have changed colour to tan or red, and you'll get more bud as there will be calyx swell and with that more trichome development. When I grew outdoors I harvested ANZAC day as everyone was out (no snoops).

Wait until about 3/4 or more of the hairs are brown for nice heavy stone .

Buy a cheap 100x microscope off e-bay. Take a snip of leaf off on of the buds and look at it (easy if you put it on a white surface. Then............ ok, I got bored, to much thinking, .

Try not to hurry to much, I do know it's hard but that girl has a lot more to do before she is finished. From the pics I'd say you have around 10 maybe 15% ripened pistils... can't really comment on the resin colour form the pics, but I doubt it's mostly cloudy on buds that look still so young.

 

Lovely crystal shots, flash may bleach out some detail but it's great for creating catch lights in the resin.
