Okay, i'm really stupid, I veged the girls for to long without realising it. I know it's a dumb problem to have, but it's a problem none the less.

 

I switched them to 12/12 yesterday, but looking at it, it's going to outgrow the head space they have very quickly.

 

I've never had to tie down during budding before, any tips you guys could provide would be great. Do I just tie down the tops? will it make the buds retarded?

Nar bro nothing wrong with tieing up or down ya buds. Just loosly tie string to the top u wana bring down n tie it off to the lip of the grow container:)

yea ive even kinked all the top branches in early flowering, didnt phase the plant at all cause she still yielded a few lb outdoors

where the branches were kinked the plant reinforced the stork so it still carried heavy colas all the way

Thanks guys, it's funny coz I have been super cropping the way you have described Frazz to get my canopy all nice and even, now looks like I have to tie down anyways, HAHAHA. After this I'm switching to SOG.

I wonder if its worth considering a sheight load of wind for the first two weeks of flower. The plants might get preoccupied in strengthening up their limbs instead of stretching. Just a though anyway. Good luck RR

aye that be a good point . .. i allways lift the lights for a week or so when i turn em .. and of course turn the wind up ..

 

and just nip em or squeeze them main branches as frazz said ..

When i flip i lower the lights to try combat the stretch , gota love the cool tubes

You could always use Rock Flower Juice .... that stops the stretch straight away plus gives you super tight buds.
