Overwatering?

hey guys, well i got 2 young (2-3 week old) white rhino, mandala mix and a bagmix we found growing in our driveway and i just started them under a 600 watt light a week ago and they were loving it growing lots of new leaves (first 3 tru leaves) and then just stopped and the 2 bottom leaves started turning yellow now i was just wondering if it is being overwatered? there is 2 in each 15L bucket with about a 70-30 coco peat and perlite mix. i am watering once per day when lights come on bout 1-1.5L ph'd water each (which is at 5.8-6.0). Will put some pics up in about 15 mins. Please help me

Sounds like it might be overwatering. You don't really need to water every day in coco.

i thought i would considering the perlite in there too, maybe go once every second day ya rekon? or should i just get one of those things from bunnings to see if the coco's too wet or wat?

Livo go by the weight of your pots. You want coco too dry out some before watering again.

Easy to do, stick ya finger in the pot if the medium is dry water it, if its wet dont water it. May i ask do u have any other potted plants in ur garden. MJ is a special plant in the way that they need LESS effort.

 

seedling in a 15 liter bucket be lucky need more than once a week water mate, have a read at the grow diary before u plant anymore , First page on almost all of em show ya how to water. n pot up.

that's a ridiculous amount for seedlings - they would only need half a cup at the most and let them nearly dry out between watering

What are you feeding them with or are you just using straight water?
