They are about 3 weeks old and have had the HPS 600w going on a 18/6 cycle. They are about 35CM away from the HPS.

My mate has recently transplanted them to bigger pots, after losing 3 to a heatwave.

The temp sit around 25-30oC, with the help of 2 fans and 1 evaporative air cooler running constantly.

Growth seems to be slower then previous grows, not too concerned about that, but he want them all healthy (obvious exceptions).

Does anyone have any advice for this grow? My mate will be sure to start a proper write up once these are readdy for cuttings.

Seeds are from a 'breeder' here, and known potential for good smoke.

Potting soil is "premium potting soil", no NPK ratio shown on bag.

Using hydroponic nutes mixed with water for feed (quater strength)

Havent really kept tabs on the watering, they get checked everyday and watered when needed (finger in soil test).

He lowered the plants a little lastnight and the one pictured has spread out alot more and looks healthier.

No such news for the others

what sort of hydro nutes are you using, although i am yet to enter the world of hydro growing, isnt 1/4 strength pretty high, would be like adding 250ml for every 1 litre of water,

Thanks for the input everyone  greatly appriciated.

Hydro nutes will be stopped for now (only fed them once anyway).

The soil holds water very well and has good texture which is why +vermirculite/perlite was opposed.

Thinks cocohusk is the way to go :D

How much growth should bee looking at after the 3 week mark? Still looks quite small.

Hi treehugr.

Those pots better have really good drainage ............ compost looks like it could be as hard as concrete :D

MongyMan & Luke Skywalker pulled you up on the H/Nutes - on

Luke Skywalker ......Yeah, I'd leave the soluble nutrients alone for the moment, should be enough food in the soil itself for a bit yet.

compo mix looks pretty baron :peace: so don't know for how long it nutrients would build up enough for beneficial microorganism to take over producing goodies.

Time to establish itself & settle in.

All the best treehugr.

Nitty.

Little bit more growth, leaves seem to have a mind of there own though.

Didnt realise it was a compost mix. When the time comes, transplanting with better soil! Any suggestions nitram?

4 Weeks now. :peace: . When is this thing going to 'settle in'?

Pots drain very well also
