purple dots on leaf stem and purple in the base of some leaves

Some of my plants and not the others, have purple running into the base of the leaflettes but not into the leaves, here's some pics to explain, I would have thought that this is a genetic trait of this particular strain however it's bagseed and I have no idea what it is

it could be from stress,cold growing conditions or a genetic trait

it's a pigment called "anthocyanin"

well i can tell you they get watered most days of the week, i've started feeding them some canna flores every second week, melbourne is reasonably warm at this time so definately no cold stress of lack of feeding, It is right next to my other plant which exhibit no signs of this purple pigment at all so if they're both getting the same treatment then it's down to trait i suppose
