Perlite and Vermiculite

Never tried this b4 and was willing to try due to its nuetral PH and steril nature, can you use this outdoors? Would it be best to use this as the only medium or add it some high quality potting soil.

80% Premium grade Potting Mix (not the shit from Big W) and 20% Perlite, that's what I'll be using if they ever stop selling Hydro nutes

Yeah ive gone way off that shit from Big W and Kmart I bought some from there a while back and it was basically all woodchip. Would the Perlite eliminate the need for rocks on the bottom of the pots?

Always add drainage in the bottom of pots, also do not get anything with slow release in it, over east I believe the searles potting mix is good here in the west I use yates dynamic lifter potting mix.

yeah i use searles although over here on the east coast we get yates products too. Will get myself some perlite when im ready to transplant my plants to there final locations.
