its easier growing them hydroponically the myth is they bleed more when the poppies are cut. Dunno if its true i've never grown it and never will.

 

there's a book floating around called hydroponic heroin.

 

I wouldnt do it personally but im not going to preach.

If you want un-treated seeds you have two options:

 

1 - go down to tassie and jump a farmers fence and take a whole bunch of heads. the good thing about this is that you can bring back a whole suitcase full of heads with seed inside. enough heads to keep you going till you harvest your own heads. Now is the time to go to tassie btw.

 

2- go to your local stock feed shop (place to get horse and chicken food) they sell poppy seed for finch or canary breeding (it helps the eggs harden). most places stock the tassie seed. ask for it coz your a keen as ozzy, and wanna support the locals, not some dipshit at the ass end of the world. you can get 10kg for $50.

 

the seed can also be steeped in water to get any traces of opium on it.

 

please remember that you are dabbling with some of the most addictive substances on earth when you use opium, so please respect this sacred plant.
