Curling (burnt looking) leaf tips.

Hi all , first time grower here and my problem is this:

 

I have a plant that was going really well under a 400 w growing in perlite, its just been put intp 12/12 but the tips of all the new leaves appear burnt and curled.

 

What are we doing wrong?

 

any advice is appreciated.

Could be nute burn, could be that the light's too close, really, without a little more information about the growing environment, it's hard to tell.... A little more info?

yeah my GUESS on the limited info is nute burn from you changing the nutes to flowering and using too much??????

Hey , check out this link and see if it helps you out, it sounds like nutrient burn to me too, if it is you should give your plants a flush with ph correct water for a day or two before using a lower strength nutrient mixture.

Id guess and say that its nute burn...try flushing for a hour with tap water....youll probably still have leaves that will show as burnt fora few weeks but they wil be old ones...

 

Also try to flush weekly........

 

If its light burn raise your lights to about 50cm if they are 400 watters....and see how you go

Thanks for you reply Tom, the plant has taken a turn for the worse overnight. Now all the leaves have now wilted, (the plant is about a foot high and on its sixth node.)

What is your PH?

 

Which nutrients are you using and at what strength?

 

What size pot are you using? Mj has an active root system, my pots are 30cm square.

wilted plants can be from too much water..
