Clone leaves going a bit yellow and curling (pics included)

Recommended Posts

Here are some pics of my aeroponic clones, the two on the back have been in there for twice as long and have good roots as shown below.

The new clones are yellowing in the middle of the leaves though, is this a ph problem? Tips burnt initially due to too high nutes (1.8, brought now to 1.6 now).

Hi,

The 2 main reasons for yellowing leaves in clones are:

1. To much light - Clones and seeds need aroud 4000 lumens to support life, Veg 27000 lumans and flowring 107000 lumans

2. The cutting was taken from a weak or nutrient deficient plant

It is always good to load the mother plant with more N and K 3-4 days and extra water and sugers 2 days before before clonning.

Either way the EC Guide for nutrient strength should be

Clones - 0.45-0.95

Veg - 0.95-1.2

Flower - 1.4 - 2

Yours seem to be high for clones thats the main reason way they look unhealthy.

Cheers
