yellowing and burns

Recommended Posts

hey guys

One of my 3 35 day old mazar plants has yellowing leaves, and some leaves are beginning to brown and die!

They are in 9L pots of potting mix with perlite and some blood and bone, under 600w HPS, average temp of 26 degrees, rh of 36%. They are being fed with worm piss, seaweed extract, fish emolsion and some multigrow.

I first realised there was a problem yesterday when it began to yellow, i then flushed them, but now the leaves are burning!

Here are some pics, any help would be great!

IMO it looks like nute burn, I could be wrong but the signs point that way... how much blood&bone did you put in the mix?

If its burn it will take a week or so (after a good flushing) to come good, expect it to get worse before it gets better.

I may be wrong though, some other peeps here have some experience with mazar, they might have some other ideas :photo:

good luck

The only time my Mazar looked similar to that it was from me not taking care of the pH.

I can't say that it is not nute burn, but when I burnt my Mazar it always seem to progress from the edges of the leaves inwards.

Either way give her a good flushing with pH adjusted water and measure the runoff (the pH and the EC) to get some idea of whats going on.

Hope that helps some. Good luck :devilred:

Oh, I hope its not ph! Ive been using one of those aquarium testers using the drops, but i thought the ph was around 6, is that right?

If it was a ph problem would it have gotten worse even after ive flushed? I mean i flushed two days ago, and its gotten much worse! the pictures really tell the story... :devilred:
