Is It possible for me to clone from a flowering plant or is it a waste of time ...

Im only asking because my clones got killed and i need new ones ...

You can clone from a flowering plant . But it will take longer to grow/reveg depending on how far into flowering it is . Also some plants wont clone well from flowering . It's a case of trying it to see . You have nothing to lose . I try to take the lower branches that arent as well flowered .

Give it a go dude ,,, as I said , take some of the lower branches that dont have much flower/bud on them

 

OH , and another option if you want to keep the strain , is to revege the plant after you have harvested . Leave as much as you can on it and put it into Veg again .

Yeh man , Will just take longer to take off

I took some cuttings off my outdoories about 3 weeks ago and they were in about 3rd week of flowering also

Wasn't a neccesity for me but I just trimmed the very bottom branches off (stuff you would usually just compost) ... Took about six ...

The lowest branches (kinda woody and only about 8cm long) were not so budded and these took root and grew well quicker than the slightly larger and more budded ones as expected ...

Was about 10-14 days for the very lowest littlies to start growing new sets of leaves , after 3 weeks the slightly budded (budsize= Large pea) are finally starting to grow tiny leaves out the top

Also I cut the main top shoot off a stretched seedling/plant (largest and thickest clone) .. It's just starting to grow new shoots also along with the already budded ones ...

So , just thought I'd add that as it may help to perspectigate

I have actually cloned a near fully developed bud. Beware though, it will branch like a mofo when it starts to reveg.

 

Strike rate on buds are low, but the lower branches will be just as simple to clone.
