Canna PK 13-14 on outdoor plants

Hey guys just wondering what time on the year you add your Canna PK 13-14 to your out door plants.. the only reason i am asking is because it looks like my bud growth has slowed down alot this week and im starting to wonder that it might be due to a Pand K deficiency..

 

or maybe i need to bump my ec up a little

 

any ways please get back to me guys im hanging to start feeding em some canna PK 13-14

Hey Shroomy. Im assuming your still using canna coco nutrients which are already pretty high in pk. I usually wait till the buds have formed at least half their expected size though I'm no expert. If they were mine Id give it a week or two before using it but thats me. See what others have to say...

well true river

but the soil is a lot more forgiving than a hydro system because of the buffering effect of the microbes

i feel PK would be irey now for you plants

a quick hit of P and K would be helpfull

Radics ruff rule

for hydro nutrient sollution is mixed at 100 to 1

for in the soil mix at 10 to 1

be sure to ph correct it before you apply it

 

pk is ment strictly for the--> change over period

when the plant changes from vegatitive growth to reproductive growth it does not need any N

for this changeover preiod which usually lasts for 2wks

it only needs P and K

growth seams to stop druing the changeover period

and indeed thats why no N is supplied

after the 2wk change over period finishes

the plant will continue at the normal growth rate but out in stead of up

N is still needed but not as much as before so bloom nutirent sollutions have less N but more P and K

seen

there are better ways to get the best fretz for your own strain

vormaponic or aquaponic can make strain specific ferts and nutrient salts

both grow and bloom

imediatly available to plant roots and even folia sprays

 

i make all my own fertz and nutrients
