Recommended Posts

12:48 pm [buddy.g] : Hi guys

12:49 pm [buddy.g] : just typed up a reply about scared fly larvae but it didn't work.

12:49 pm [buddy.g] : shit me, it was long

12:49 pm [buddy.g] : any of you have any natural remedies for killing the larvae

12:50 pm [buddy.g] : i used an water ozone generator last week that killed them all

12:50 pm [buddy.g] : but i had to give it back to the shop

12:51 pm [buddy.g] : nice of them to lend it to me

12:51 pm [buddy.g] : they are out of additive to add to my tank to kill them. so i have to look for alternatives for now

12:51 pm [buddy.g] : any ideas?????

12:54 pm [buddy.g] : Also i have never ever seen 1 fly in my cupboard.

12:55 pm [buddy.g] : But if you get a clear 1ltr container and shine a light into it there would be easily 1000 of them in there

12:55 pm [buddy.g] : Larvae that is

Any help much appreciated

yes that will work

but too much H2O2 will burn the roots

be carefull

strictly follow the directions

insects are only a problem if the plant is suffering

take some pix please

and we will try and get a positive Id for the pest

is this a hydro or soil gorw????

1 pic will answer a thousnd questions

best methord for insect pest control is the Biodynamic methord

basicaly

just collect about 20 of the pests and mash dem up in 100ml of pure water

let it brew for 10hr at grow room temps

strain

mix it with pure water at 100 to 1

spray infected plants thourhly grow room too

seen thats it

yo

never spray with the lights on

never

Radic,

I dont seem to have a problem in my cupboard, just my resivour (hydro setup recirculating) however i am sure that the prob started with flys laying eggs in the medium. (rockwool block and clay beads)

I will have to wait for the buggers to get a bit bigger to get a pic of them. They look like mosquito larvae. but have beeen told they are most likely scared fly (have never seen one in the cupboard)

The plant itself look very healthy just stretched alot.

irey

dont worrie till you see some suffering

do keep an eye pon the population

get some pix if you can

i would love to check dem over

yo

too much N will stretch the budz

solution is to flush start again

it is recomended to flush once every week in a recirculating system

that is the safest way to go

and also

running the grow room at too high a tempetuer will also tend to stretch yah ladies

solution---> AC rulez

I religiously flush every week through flower.

As for temps .......well they are quite extreme. I grow in my garden shed. So temps are a big problem for me.

Wish my other grow threads hadent lost there pics.

top temps for this grow have seen it up to 45-47 degrees. Thats with running the lights at night. I also suffer from extreme low temps too. 8-12 degrees.

I love my shed grows it really shows what can be done under terrible conditions :uhhuh:

A previous grow by me
