Nice looking frog, I hope it sticks around, keeps the bugs off me plants.

 

I'd be checkin the Mums carefully Nibs, Bugs would be why he's there. Unless you have many mozzies around.

Just googled the camera, found a review that said "it's not a good buy"

They haven't seen these pics.

It's not the composition MT it's the colours & clarity that's got me excited.

Think most was judged on the bits & bobs but they did go for oolour & clarity, left me wondering WTF are they talking about.

Found this little fella in the greenhouse this morning when I was re-potting the tomatoes.

 

Thought I'd be clever and look him up in my frog book, but no luck there.

 

I've narrowed it down to 2 genera, either Crinia or Litoria. I seem to recall a mate saying they were the Eastern froglet, but I can't find that one, only the Eastern sign bearing froglet which looks nothing like this and has a different distribution. It might be the common froglet Crinea signifera, as the distribution fits, but looks nothing like the photos in the book ?

 

Anyway he's pretty cool regardless of his name

there is a cool green frog in the pics, he was playing possum and looking all innocent,soon as I turned my back to reach for a light he was gone into the darkness in one big leap. probably dropped about 20 feet over the balcony

Cheers Cass, I only crop and resize them. The camera I was using broke after being dropped too many times. Now I'm using an Olympus SZ-14 which also doesn't get rave reviews
