Does anyone know the difference between the 400w phillips son t in the green packaging and the son t in the white packaging? Gazza...? Thanks, soda

i havent seen them in the white box before could be something new? could be the son-t-plus 600w? or u could go the 400w lucagrow i really like these globes never been a big fan of son-t-agro's altho ive used them

Finely got my new tube, now im happy and i bet my plants are too. When i was at the shop i told the hydro guy that i wouldnt mind gettin a larger reflector for my 400, i pointed to one i like and he said i would also have to buy a 600w ballast coz this shade dont run 400s? I have been told a few times that lamp holders in any ballast (hps) are interchangable with the complete range of lamps (400w thru to 1000w), thats what i thought. Am i wrong? Or is the guy just talkin shit so i buy a complete 600 off him?

haha i'd look for a new hydro shop and tell that prick to go fuck him self! u can run a 250-1100watt in the same lamp holder
