Burnt by the light?

Yesterday I caved into my paranoia and moved my 3 and 4 week old babies from the back yard into my nursery.

 

Yes, yes. I know the golden rule about not going from outdoors to indoors, but there's only those two plants, the nursery was offline till now.

 

Yesterday afternoon I went and looked in on them and saw that they weren't looking too good. The leaves have dead patches on them.

 

I moved my lights up so they weren't as close thinking that they might have been burnt a little. Granted, they are only CFL's, but those things can still get pretty warm!

 

Here's a pic of the worst of it. It seems to have affected all the leaves from top to bottom and on both plants, but more so on the 4 week old. It's taller and was therefore closer to the lights.

 

Any helpful feedback would be appreciated.

My plants looked like that my last grow early on, I came to the conclusion it was overwatering or windburn (having fan blowing directly on it) in my case I think it was both..

 

Just my ideas.

Well after a lengthy QnA in chat we have resolved that it is probably nute burn...

 

They've just been given a nice big flush so we will see what happens...

give them a flush

just keep pouring pure water in the top of each pot, till the pot fills but does not ouerflow

when the water runs out the bottom of the pot clear

stop

now return to your normal feeding gradually

at 1/2 strength frist day

then full sterngth next day

must keep them low of course you know

and humidity same

The further the lights are from the plants the slower the plants will grow

the closer they are the faster they grow and the hotter it gets as the grow closer to the lights

so the happy medium is the ting to aim for here

i found a light spray of K will help a plant deal with shock

have you got any Eoc-Carb ???????? its the best and what the pros use

or try liquid Kelp spray

apply at half the recomended strength

and strictly at the beginning and end of the light cycle

 

same as in the garden

plant dont love water pon their leaves in full sun light or under CFL's

but at dawn and dusk its fine
