lights for a growing newbie

i wanna start growin my own little crop of weed and i was wondering if you guys could tell me about where to buy the correct lights and how much it will cost me?

growing from clones or seed?

if its small you need to tell us how big the space is as I could recommend u use a 400 HPs light for your grow and flower area but if its too big then you arent going to be too happy.........

small....maybe 500cm by 500cm......how many plants can i fit in that...like 2 or 3.....i know a lose a few coz of male plants and shit....i can get seeds easy....but clones i dont know Edited May 2, 2003 by put.that.in.ur.pipe.n.smoke.it

be better if you could make that 500deep x 900 or more wide and 1800high. Thats a big enough size for a 400watter. You can get cabinets about this size from the salvos for $40 to $60 depending.

 

Then you need to look into ventilation, which can be as simple as cutting some holes in the bottom of your cabinet and installing an extraction fan at the top.
