um yeah mate ya can cook it.....but ya dont really need to chuck ya buds in.

 

add the same weight of leaf and bud trim to butter and then cover with cold water in a large pot......then bring to simmer for about 12 to 24hrs(topping up with hot water from the kettel when needed)......be warned though...it makes ya house farkn stink :sly:...

 

after ya simmered it for however long take it off the heat and allow to cool completly....once its cooled the green butter will solidify....then you can carefully scoop it out....then chuck the water away.

 

then get the scooped up butter....put it in a muslin cloth or stocking and squeeze out the remaining water(dont need to be too rough)
