Odorsok - Is it true?

Recommended Posts

The following is unsubstantiated and may have no truth to them, I came across this information as I was looking to purchase an Odorsok, but anyway here we go....

I have heard that there was a recall of the ODORSOK due to manufacturing defects and the product not performing, the website is currently off line and a few stores that I have contacted to see if they had one in stock, one can't get any stock and another will not stock them due to their poor performance!

The other rumor is that they have shut up shop due to legal proceedings against them, I think this is due to someone getting busted as the ODORSOK did not perform as it should have!

So if you have an odorsok that doesn't do what is designed to you may have nowhere to go but here is a start!

Remember, the above are only rumors and are unsubstantiated and I hope that they are proven untrue and the product performs as it was intended as there would be a lot of people out there that would have been duped!

Peace

hey billo how did ya go about rehydrating it?

:peace:

direct copy from odorsok pamphlet

step 1...MACHINE WASH when dusty or reduction in airflow becomes apparent

step 2...tumble dry when wet or if odor becomes apparent

note... DO NOT wash with soap or detergents.they will be absorbed by tha carbon cloth

which will ultimately shorten the lifespan..

when used in high numidity areas, odorosk will need to be reactivated

when saturation occurs(odor breakthrew)

tumble drying (hot) or blow drying the odorsok will remove all moisture

and reactivate the carbon cloth..this may be repeated as mant times

necessary untill tha odorsok reaches true saturation from pollutants(approxomately 1 year)

basically i have found tyhat reactivation is necessary at 2 months

so every 2 months i just pop it into dryer for 10 mins

hope that helps

take acre and stay safe

bill

very similar to the above posts writtings
