Ok 2 days ago i accidently almost broke off the new growth on the main stem.....shit:(. While the new growth has not died the place i split it doesnt seem to be healing and is very weak.

 

What my question is , does it heal...or should i just cut it off. Cheer ppl.

since the new growth hasnt wilted water should still be able to get to it. provided that keeps up the plant will bounce back and the lower branches should really shoot out

You could always try splinting it with an appropriate length of split straw. Give it a little time and it should do just fine.

I'd suggest you tape it up if you want to keep it. You can get proper paper tape that is made for grafting or the white paper type DIY masking tape works just as well. Tape it up and give it lots of support, then unwrap the tape in about 2 and re apply if needs be and if the stem has grown thicker. Taping it will mean less chance of infection.

id splint it

cannabis is an amazing plant

it will heal itself

and be much stronger than before

i use a method called supercropping

its similar i spose just not as heavy handed

but i reckon shes salvagable,id just get in there qwuick

splint and tape

That happens to me all the time paulshop i always put a bandaid around them always works

I've done the same many a time to tomato plants in the past too.

 

With a splint and some care they have always bounced back. I can't see mj being any different.

They are quite a hardy plant really.
