Drugs Uncovered

 

CANNABIS plants were found growing in a sophisticated underground bunker in south-east Queensland yesterday, police said.

Around 100 plants were discovered in the concealed bunker made from shpping containers connected by a tunnel at a property near Gympie.

Police said a 45 year old man and 25 year old woman had been charged.

 

 

hmm, sounds like it was a pretty tricky setup, and probably thought they wouldn't be found.....were probably tipped off.....

thats the trouble with growing to sell. The cops can squeeze anyone down the line and eventually work their way up to the grower.

it's one thing to help out your friends and offload a little here and there for a bit of pocket money if you can, but growing commercial size crops is soooo risky....

on our local news (seven) it said 1000 plants

 

found growing in a sophisticated underground bunker made from shpping containers connected by a tunnel

 

there were 3 containers.

 

the plants were approx 800mm tall and were ready to harvest on the weekend......now the question is, could you fit 1000 plants into 3 x 20ft x 10ft containers? Looking at the news, it looked like a SOG

it would be hard for a 1000 plants to look like anything else.
