Overwatering or PH problems?

Recommended Posts

i dunno why you would use clayballs /hydroton but i was under the impression that it is engineered to dry out in 2 hours. thats what i was told by a reputable shop owner, apparently from the reps mouth.

i used to use it in a flood and drain system, and found that the plants often fell over due to not being anchored down in the pot by the medium.

i only use hydroton in the bottom of my pots now from drainage and use a mix of 60% cococoir and 40% perlite or diatomite. worm casting and mychorrizal fungi too if you wanna spoil the ladies....
