Cheapest possible lighting!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

First thread for me!

I am trying to work out how to get my hands on some lights that are cheap if not free;

can i use like lights from a pet store that a designed for lizards etc who need the warmth

they had some 150watt lights and like some decent looking ?reflectors? that house them for a fairly decent price...

can i use a couple of these instead of an expensive hydro light?

update:

that ebay item, looks exactly the same (if not a different brand name, i remember reading very similar text on the box packaging)

what do you guys think?

Yea the only way i know to get any useful free lights is knock off the lights @ ya local footy oval , but watch the live electricity as it can kill ..

if there were cheap lights apart from proper growing lights dont ya think we would be using them?

growing lights have a certain spectrum of light waves that closely mimick the Sun's light , unfortunately other lights do not have these abilities because they are made for all different types of daily uses

:scratchin:
