I know these pictures are not very good they were took on my camera phone, but can someone please help me find out what the problem is?

i grow them under a 75w fluorescent and when its sunny put them outside

the spots started on only one plant but has now spread to others, i was thinking it could be spider mite or some sort of bug attacking them

any feedback would be great fully appreciated lol

from the look of those pics i think you have a pH lockout lol some full plant pictures + information such as the strain, medium, pot size, etc. would be heaps helpful in diagnosing the problem, but if im right and you do have a pH lockout it is very easy to fix lol all you need to do is flush the plant with pH adjusted water for your medium and then give the plant 2-3x the amount of water for the pot size. eg. if you are growing in soil in a 20L pot you should adjust the pH to around 6.5 and then give the plant 40-60L of the water. after that its just a matter of starting the plant up on some nutrients again and everything should be fine although you will never recover the damage that has already been done :peace:

first check for insects pests

are there any ants in the post or grow space?????

look under side of the leaf for aphids, or scale or mites

use a magnifing glass

it could be a couple of different pests

yo

it is not really a good idea to move ya plant out side as they will get insects pests on them and you will then bring them into ya grow space

now

that is a big problem cause the pest will thrive in there

better to bring the sun inta ya grow space via a widow or a skylight

get bigger lights

take some pix please

make absolutly certain there is no insect infestation first

seen

ok

great advice from chronic

flush flush flush

a fail safe way to make sure

is to slowly pour pure water into the top of the pot carefull it does not over flow

till the water is clear

that runs

from out of the bottom of the pot

seen

i like to flush every day well i have plenty water

but once a week is recomended by most for hydro

every second day for out door (unless it rains)

seen

what are your management practices so far???

tell we more bout ya indoor setup

what stage of growth is she in?????

she looks like a nice indica

show some love

she will repay yah

females are good like dat

lol

guidance

The leaves on the bigger one started getting spots first and then the little one a few days after.

the smaller one is in a litre pot

im not too sure about the bigger one but i think it must be about a litre and a half

i repotted both yesterday

the growing medium is 70% average compost growing soil, with no fertilizer and 30% vermiculite

I have noticed tiny strings looking like webs on the plants so i brought a product called Bug Clear Gun and sprayed them with it today.

im relying mostly on outside weather due to not being allowed lights on all day in my house, so i put them outside and then bring in when the sun starts to go down i put the big one under a 100w garden spotlight lamp and the smaller on under a 75w flourscent for the extra hours of light they need to stay in vegetative growth

can you setup a hot house out doors with clear plastic

they dont need that much more light to keep dem in veg even a light from a window in the house shinning out on to yah plants will do it

locals round here make small protable hot house tipis for that purpose

or if stelth is not a problem

you could put your fluros in yah hot house too for light suplement

thats how we get carnations pon mothersday without fail

tell yah what

google -->glass house design

for ideas and insperation

did you flush dem out yet????

what fertz are u using????

i recomend

use a liquid like worm juice or fish emullision

add a tea spoon of mollassis for each plant

mix at 100 to 1

apply every second day

then flush with pure water everyother day

dont waist yah money pon chemicals

just squash dem pests in some water

leave it stand at grow room temps for 10hrs

then strain and spay dat on yah girls at 100 to 1

no more pests

dont smoke chemicals

The problem has seemed to got much worse the spots are bigger and browner

so i should flush them with pure water everday?

wouldnt this mean im over watering them? the soil doesnt dry out that much from day to day

im just using baby bio fert which is high in nitrogen

and the reason i need more light at night is because im in england and we are having short days at the moment still

oh no

true

more pix please

did you find any insects?????

take pix

show me a close ups of the under side of the affected leaves

+

show me pix of the stem at the pot level

i want to check if is is a root problem

are their roots healthy?????

too much water = bad drainage problems

you cant give too much water unless you have poor drainage

when u repotted did you notice any hard dry area or and blockage that would slow down or block drainage

if you have a root rot problem then

some h2o2 with plain water mix at 100 to 1

will help

try it

dude, i dont think the girls are gonna make it, most of the leaves are now dead also all the vein looking things on the leaves are looking like they're being sucked into the plant.

they're just not in a good place at the moment, i think i might have to start fresh again

depressing that i fucked up my first plant though,

any tips on what not to do to prevent this next time?

different medium? more drainage?

are 15hour days long enough for seedlings to grow properly ?
