are my plants growing properly?

Recommended Posts

Yeah, a couple of pics and some details of your grow setup would help, bizquick.

But don't be too worried about lack of stem growth, unless you see some shriveling of the stem. By the sounds of it, their not doing too bad, just try 'n avoid over-watering for now as well.

i tried to take some pics but the filesize of the images is to large can anybody help me out with compressing a jpeg?

But i am worried that they are not growing properly. I am also afraid that the temps in my grow room are too high, they are usually around 85F but sometimes reach into the 90's. Also some of the leaves are beginning to turn yellow at the tips, and the first set of leaves that sprouted are no completely yellow now, I thought that it would have to do something with the ph or nitrogen levels but i checked the levels last night and they were ok. The seedlings are a week and a half old and are currently two inches tall but as ive said before they were that tall a week ago. I am growing indoors and my soil is foxfarm with perlite mixed in. I hope to grow my plants about a foot tall before i flower them. Thanks for the help.

ok

get a book, do a search,

Marijuana Botany by clarke and Integral Hydroponics Edition 3 by G.Low are the top shelf

irey

yellowing tips from too hot

yes get you grow space temps down and stable

fans and air conditioners rule

bigger exaust and inlets

move some air

seen

quick botany rave

hear i tourts

the first pair of leaves is called cotaledons and are not true leaves they are like the white of an egg

fulla food and sugars for growth till the first set of true leaves is out and photosinthizing light into sugar

then they will dry up and drop off

most of the growth is in the roots at this stage for stability, water, and nutrients

they do not need any nutrients

just give them water till they have their first or second true leaves

for the roots to thrive they need air too

dont drown em
