Recommended Posts

cunt..maybe i should live on the moon.. maybe then i'll need some nice grow gear :P

yeah.. oh well it's been two days since i switched the lights.. i think i have two females and a possible hermie.. but I'm not quite sure yet.. only one plant has shown distinctive preflowers before this time.. the other two are telling me they are female but i need a bit of magnification to tell for certain and maybe a torch too.. you sell those (edit.. needstuff)? hehe

what turns your crank?

On sunday 13 july i changed the nutrients..still on amsterdam indoors..mixed as per directions, add budlink and some evolution solution extra yield.. as per directions...what i ended up with was an EC 20 reading..not too bad for all the nutrients in that water B)

lights got a bit close for comfort so now there is some brown krusty bits on the leaves...only about 3 sunspots i think.. so now i got extra hooks in the ceiling.. didn't plan on vegging them so long i guess.

last few days i've seen alot of growth in the buds.. and a fair amount of trichomes on the surrounding bud leaves already... gosh i can't wait ay?

i'll wait a few more days before i post some more pics..just hope you can make those buds out a bit better ..

one thing i noticed about the two gurls i got (#2 and #3) is that as the plant really starts taking off in vege..the fan leaves take on a skinnier characteristic.. in flowering, they seem alot skinner than the lower ones where..

i got on order from australia geographic an illuminated pocket microscope that is 60x - 100x magnification... cost me $30 over the net..normal price is about $22 i think..they actually advertise without gst so it looks like $19.95 or sumthin

hmmm... i wouldn't say bad ph..i got a tester and phosphorous acid to lower it.. plus i mix it to around 6 ph..

could be magnesium deficiency..but i never heard of that with amsterdam indoors though..

i seriously think it's the high light intensity and or the heat.. as it's mostly at the tops of the plants.. also,, there's droplets of watery stuff on some of the leaves at the top.. seems like they sweat to keep kool or sumthing

The leaves directly under the hid quite often go a slightly lighter shade of green, just raise the light a little if possible... If that's not an option, then you may want to consider pulling the branches down just a little further.

The droplets on the leaves, that could be a serious problem in late bud. Are you venting at night? Because the humidity could be rising tremendously if you aren't, and nothing helps mold like dark, moisture and cold. So VENT!!! Does this water appear between two leaves which are pressed together? And does it only really appear in the "morning"? Then condensation is the answer.

Hope that helps ya mate, just my 2 cents... B)
