Retarted plant

Hi all

 

This was from a grow last year. it looks like one of my plants were slightly retarded...

i dont no if was due to bad genetics or something i did wrong...but this was the only plant that turn out weird.

i have provided a photo, does anyone no what caused this retardation? Just out of curiosity.

dont have a clue as to why really.. but it certainly looks cool.. and healthy... what where the buds like?

 

i think when you cross one strain with another.. youll get an F1 seed.. these F1 seeds will throw 3 distinct phenos.. as you start breaking the plant genes down.. to F2.. F3 and so on.. youll start increasing the amount of phenotypes the seeds will throw.. this is how breeders single out specific traits to breed into strains.. by doing this youll get the odd strange pheno that looks nuthing like any others.. not so much of a bad thing.. and... sometimes even with Pure bred strains youll get the occasional mutant plant..

 

wasnt too long ago i had a plant that when it flowered it grew the normal buds in the normal spots.. but would grow an extra node out of the leaf stalk.. a thing ive seen quite often..

 

sooo.. i dont think its anything youve done.. it just happens... exactly why i dont really know.. i think its down to breeding... maybe not.. just a fluke mutant.... or both..

I grew a plant like that mate. it went all wierd because i stressed it out with a transplant, maybe you stressed it out with fertilizer or maybe also a transplant.
