nouseforaname is dead right. I used to cross feilds to patches every day in one direction or another. Thought I was on the surface of the moon for the first couple years, no-one saw mw, total privacy, all to myself.

once a month our distcrict would have a gathering. We didnt have a town, just a farmer's hall we had "salad teas" in summer and hot dinners in winter for the community to get together.

 

All the farmers would be asking me "I saw you walking toward mcnalty's place the other day, getting some exersize were ya?

or.."saw you headin down to the scrub patch last week. any dingoe down in there?"

 

U dont know whos' watching. And what's worse, the first couple seasons I didnt know about allthis,and I had a habit of wearing white singlets! . Soon learned to wear blue jeans and karki shirts.

 

So I carried a shotgun everywhere i went. Tell everyone I was out shooting. Something they understand.

 

hey that durban..how old is it? I used to grow durban and it looked identical to it, but a lot taller. Wonder if it's a different varriety, or if you just veg them shorter is all? I can se yours is at least a "foot" tall . o dear, sorry, sad joke.
