Best time for lights on?

Hey guys,

 

Ive just finished my run to waist system and am ready to transplant my little babys into the big room. Just curious on what time of the day is best for lights on and off? (To avoid peak hour/heat) Cheers for any feedback

Hey Ricky I'm new to indoor growing, but have found through trial/error that the lights turn should off half an hour before the temperature peaks, so check the weather forecast. I have mine on 6:30pm to 12:30pm and have the fans running 15mins after the lights are on and 15mins before to get the air circulating again. I also have been curious to see what other growers think about this issue.

People will have varying views and ways of doing it.

 

I live in Qld and it gets to hot trough out the day in summer time so i will set my timers to start lights on at say 7pm at night and leave on for what ever stage of growing i am in 12/12 for bud or 18/6 for veg.

 

But u can have the lights come on at what ever time u wish but u will need GOOD heat control if u are growing in summer through out the day if you are using a hid...

Ahh okay.. Atm the plants are in Veg so there in 18hours of light... Lights come on at 4pm and go off at 10am. So i figure that will avoid the peak of the day... Plus i have the fan running 24/7.

 

I guess since its my first grow its trial and error

As each grow gos by u will only get batter at it and anything u dont know or under stand just ask away and we do our best to help u out with the rite answer...
