Drug trafficking arrest, Aitkenvale

A 22-year-old Aitkenvale man has been charged with drug offences after a search warrant was executed on his Townsville residence yesterday. The search allegedly located a quantity of cannabis, amphetamine and LSD, along with drug related material and a number of weapons. He has been charged with eight drug related offences including trafficking, possession of a dangerous drug, produce a dangerous drug and unlawful possession of a weapon. He appeared in the Townsville Magistrates Court today.
