Recommended Posts

A cannabis plantation with an estimated street value of $250,000 has been found in a national park in northern NSW.

Police said they were called to the Boonoo Boonoo National Park, about 30km north east of Tenterfield, following information from a member of the public yesterday.

They found two crop sites containing 56 plants between one metre and 2.5 metres high, with an extensive watering system.

No arrests have yet been made and anyone with information about the crop is urged to contact Tenterfield Police on 02 6736 1144 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
