Queensland police have charged a South Australian man over the alleged discovery of 13 kilograms of cannabis in his car, on the Gold Coast.

 

Detective Superintendent Linda Fellows from the drug investigation branch in SA says a 39-year-old man from Ardrossan on SA's Yorke Peninsula is suspected of being part of a big drug trafficking syndicate.

 

She says the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation involving Queensland and South Australian police which has already resulted in about 10 arrests and 15 people being reported and more arrests are possible.

 

"As a result three further people were arrested in Queensland - and in Adelaide a 39-year-old man from Old Noarlunga was arrested and charged," she said.

 

"Approximately $75,000 in cash was seized in Queensland as part of that investigation."

 

 

If I was involved in anything to do with a QLD/SA syndicate, I would sure as hell take this advice and clean house.
