Root Aphids Mackin on my girls roots

Has anyone had root aphids? I'm not positive if they are root aphids or fungus gnats, but I need to figure it out fast cause their multiplying faster than rabbits. Anyone had experience with either?

i think aphids are white and fungus gnats are black, in either case i recommend "maverik" which is made by yates and can be bought at big-w for around 13 dollars it'll wipe those bastards out in no time and as long as you are 3-4 weeks away from harvesting or more, it will have no ill effects on anyone who smokes the buds as it breaks down in about 2 weeks i believe

They're mainly on the roots. I've seen one or two flying bugs, but mainly root bugs. In Jorge's grow book he has a picture of what he calls fungus gnatd on roots, but when you research fungus gnat's life cycle there isn't a stage of a bug with legs. On the other hand root aphids research pretty much fits it. I've got to get a good look at some winged bugs to better identify. I dowsed them with gnatrol yesterday, and I'm going to try to get some pyrethin concentrate to dowse them with tomorrow. Treat for both for now till I figure it out. Hopefully I don't kill or stunt my girls too much. I'll look up maverik next.
