Cool Tubes Light dispertion

I was wondering what the light spread is like from the Cool Tubes that come with the small reflector?

 

Is it adequate? Does it spread the light as well as batwings for a 1000w bulb? Can you place a batwing over the top of CT's?

hey jimbo

i have my coolie fitted to medium adjustashade

with the same footprint i had prior

and the tube gets to 30cm from plant tops

i didnt worry bout the internal reflector

removed it all and fitted to the shade

i seen the biggest cool tube i ever seen the other day

had to be close to 1 metre...fair dinkum

there the double enders billo i was considering buying one of those but thought how the fuck do i get the two lamps in it without needing to pull it apart so i went with two single ones worked out better dont think they would sell many of the double enders

jimbo the internal reflectors are only good if u intend on using the light in a wardrobe otherwise there useless they block alot of the light

nope these suckas only have 1 lamp holder

i spun too i thought they were the doubles too

maybe they removed the second lamp holder? a 1m coolie is pointless
