manipulating sunlight?

Would it be possible to grow a plant outdoors in my yard and still have a controlled 12/12 setup by moving the plant Into a light proof box at 6pm and putting it back outside at 6am. to get it to flower in summer?

it most certainly is, i know people who use tarps to get plants to flower earlier in the season.

a few people on this site have posted about doing this.. seemed ti work quite well for them

It's lot of work but can be done - I had a flight of stairs to b contend with when I did it.

Budder you are in the tropics where the daylight hours are roughly 11-13 hours all year round. You would be far better off vegging inside and puting them outside to flower which you can do all year round. If you dont want to do this then grow indica leaning strains which will flower at all times of the year including summer. (13-13.5hrs daylight isn't enought to keep them vegging and instead they will flower)
