Light positioning

I have 6 54W 4ft long T5 HO Lights. My grow space is a little under 4ft wide so i cant have the lights flush with the top of the closet.

 

should i have the lights vertically (3 on each side of the plants)?

or have the lights on an angle above the plants?

 

i attached a diagram it was fun to draw, yeah im a bit stoned....

personally i would put one above the plants like in the first diagram, but then put the rest of the lights around the wardrobe like in the second diagram...being piss weak fluros you'll need to put as many in there as you can to get the most out of your plants

Damm man you should try googles sketchit pro that is a trip to draw with

 

try the shorter flouros and you could put them on a floating ceiling(I know you aint got them but recycling centers and even bunnings are a cheap arse spot to grab em)

You are going to need to add a bit more light anyway so I would mount them vertically and get a couple of high output compact fluorescents (or 6 - 10 20w ones) to hang over the plants, a HID is really a much better investment when it comes to yield per watt though.
