Suitable Outdoor Strains?

Hey guys,

 

I've been growing indoors for 12 yrs but I'm not as switched on when it comes to outdoor growing.

 

I am going to grow about a dozen plants in the backyard amongst the other plants/trees. So I would like to call on the knowledge of the more experienced guys on what strains would be suitable after reading my requirements;

 

The plants must be no taller than 5 feet.

 

Have decent mold resistance

 

Can't be too overwhelming in the smell department

 

and the obvious they must have good potency and yield.

 

I was thinking Cali-o , SK#1, Hindu Kush, C99, bubblegum/bogglegum..

 

ANY SUGGESTIONS??????????????????????

if you want to avoid mould you should aim for a sativa dominate strain, that being said, aiming for 5ft or less will be next to impossible without severe tipping, training or putting the plants outdoors much later in the season than normal to reduce the vege time

without training

imho JTR will be a great outdoor strain

shit if its outdoors id definately recommend the celtic cross

a very hardy plant with a great flavour

yields well,dont absolutely stink

and i think are only 50$ at PS

other than that i have had great success with the strain MISTY

outdoors she is a gem,shes a white widow relative

I was tossing around the idea of trying JTR but still worried about height.

 

Have heard great things about Misty, is that from HGFS?

 

Do you guys reckon planting sativa's late in the season to combat height?

with the JTR

i just grew 5 beans worth

i ended up with 3 phenos

1 real stretchy haze pheno

and 2 real squat but still sativa like

plus u can always tie the main cola

bend and tie the rest of the plant

alot of seed cos do the misty strain

as its 1 of the great white strains from way back

a true sister to white widow
