Anyone have recent update on Odor-soks

I've read all of the posts, some being a year old and some of you had just bought them.

Can you report anything on them as I was thinking of going to one soon instead of big

bulky cannister type.

Like to hear all of your feedback

Ok guys, forget my request on odor-sok update, must have had a bit too

much smoke and little sleep when I asked the question. Looks like I have

looked at the date the members joined instead of the date of the post so all

of the info I read was current and up to date. ( In my defence, it is very very

good shit - whenever I give someone some, the next time I see them they just

shake their head and give big smile- no words are spoken)

Looks like I'll have to wait for some opinions about the performance of the soks.

Odor sox suck.

 

I bought one and you could smell my shit from the front foot path. I even had 2 teenage boys acting suss out the front of my place looking over ppls fences tryi8ng to find the source of the smell. Lucky they never worked it out. My local happily gave me a refund as i was one of many ppl returning their sox from disatisfaction. Lets face it, this is one item from the hydro shop you really need to work properly. Don't waste your time or money on these things. Back to my big heavy filter. Might be a pain to set up with it's wieght, but it's 100% safe. Least that's been my experience

V interesting, could you detail the model of filter and fan you used?

Its nothing new to my local festival Hydro shop who has more than a few being returned, many within the 1st month of operation ... bad news travels fast

i use 1

i had some dramas

with it not filtering the air

i simply put it in the dryer

for 10 mins

and now im back to odourless growing

I only ask because they may be overventilated. They do need a minimum contact time just like the normal filters, and if you push through too much it won't remove smell.

 

That and excessive humidity....

 

But interested in people listing the size of their filters and fans who've had problems...
